End of the playing career for Jakov Vladović

Jakov Vladović, former ABA League champion, who played the regional league basketball for several clubs, like Zadar, Zagreb, Union Olimpija and Krka, has decided to call it quits on his prolific playing career.

One of the most iconic ABA League players, Jakov Vladović has decided to put his playing career to an end, at his age of 38.

The player, who claimed the regional league trophy in 2002/03 season in Tivoli Sports Hall Ljubljana with Zadar, as they have triumphed over Maccabi in the final, has been wearing jerseys of Široki, Zagreb, Union Olimpija and Krka during his ABA League career, besides of course his hometown club Zadar.

Jakov Vladović has spent 14 seasons in ABA League, collecting 268 appearances, 2448 points, 825 assists and 344 steals. This puts him on third place on the ABA League all-time top ball thieves list, on the fourth place on the all-time top passers list, on eighth place on the all-time top scorers list and on eleventh place on the list of players with the most appearances.
