Conclusions of the ABA League Assembly session

At the extraordinary ABA League j.t.d. Assembly session, that has begun on 13 September 2021 and continued on 21 September 2021, a set of documents and internal acts, necessary for the smooth beginning and progress of all competitions under the umbrella of the ABA League in the 2021/22 season, has been confirmed.

The ABA League Assembly has devoted special focus to the adoption of the Covid-19 protocol, in which all of the details, related to the highest possible protection of the health of everyone involved, are defined. On this occasion, a special document, by which the details on possible postponement of the games in case of Covid-19 infection within the team are defined, has been adopted.

In this regard, in accordance with the decision of the ABA League j.t.d. Assembly, the game can be postponed in case of restrictions arising from the decisions, based on epidemiological regulations of respective states. Also, postponing of the games is possible when a team has less than eight players on its disposal or remains without the entire coaching staff due to a Covid-19 infection.

At the suggestion of the Management, the ABA League Assembly has chosen Mr. Hrvoje Vidan, former player, who is today a respected lawyer, to be the new Disciplinary Judge of the ABA League. At the same time, the ABA League j.t.d. Assembly has decided to keep the ABA League Appeals Board in the same composition.
