Game recap: Partizan NIS have edged out Zadar on the road in Krešimir Ćosić arena in Zadar. It has been a game, where the black and white have been in front for the majority of the playing time and, even though the game could have gone either way in the end, given that there has been a thrilling finish, in the end they have deservedly got away with their first win of the AdmiralBet ABA League season. This was the game, where famous coach Željko Obradović made his debut at the bench of Partizan NIS in some of the AdmiralBet ABA League games and – just like the Belgrade fans have hoped – he led his team to the win.

Ahead of the beginning of the game, AdmiralBet ABA League Director Dubravko Kmetović has handed Jakov Vladović a present on his retirement – his picture with a memories on his playing time in the AdmiralBet ABA League alongside with his achievements.

Key moments: Partizan have celebrated the win after a truly thrilling ending. The last time the two squads have been tied has been at the score of 69:69 with 4 minutes remaining on the game clock. Then Dallas Moore scored a 3-pointer and Zadar did not manage to tie the game again, even though Partizan NIS just did not manage to pull away all until the final minute. The black and white entered the last 60 seconds with a 3-point lead (73:76), but Zadar did not manage to score anymore in the final moments. When Uroš Trifunović and Kevin Punter each added a free-throw to put Partizan up by 5 points with 15 seconds on the clock, it became clear that the battle for a win was over.

Man of the match: Zach LeDay was the key player for Partizan NIS, as he led the black and white to the win with 10 points, just as many rebounds, 2 assists, a steal, and a game high valuation of 19. He is our man of the match!

Can’t trick the stats: Zadar had 15 turnovers and Partizan NIS only 11. That’s what decided the outcome of the game in the end.
