The new Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season is just about to begin, while AdmiralBet ABA League champions Crvena zvezda mts will face Fenerbahce Beko on the road in the opening round.

Crvena zvezda mts made a flying start in the new season as they scored a convincing win over Split in the first round of the 2021/22 AdmiralBet ABA League campaign. The red-and-whites presented some top-class basketball in that match and they are now traveling to Istanbul confident that they might stun the Turkish giant.

Still, it must be mentioned that Crvena zvezda mts won’t have a full roster available for the following match. Aaron White will definitely miss this the game in Istanbul as he will be sidelined for couple of months, while we are yet to see whether Branko Lazić, Ognjen Dobrić, Dejan Davidovac and Aleksa Uskoković will recover in time for the Friday’s clash.

Crvena zvezda mts have never defeated Fenerbahce Beko on the road in EuroLeague as they lost each of the previous 6 away games against the Turkish side.

We wish the reigning AdmiralBet ABA League champions to break that losing streak on Friday evening and we wish them a successful Turkish Airlines EuroLeague journey.
