Cibona win the overtime thriller vs. Mega Basket
Cibona have defeated Mega Basket in overtime to stay perfect in the 2021/22 AdmiralBet ABA League season.

Game recap: Cibona have won “the battle of youngsters” as they defeated Mega Basket in overtime! These two extremely talented teams have presented us a truly amazing game in which we saw some impressive performances from the players on both sides.
At the end, Cibona managed to pull off a big comeback in the 4th quarter and to force overtime, while then the Wolves took over the control over the match and scored a very important win.
Cibona’s main man was Nathan Reuvers as he scored 24 points and made 13 rebounds, while on other side it is worth mentioning the performance of Boriša Simanić who scored 21 points for Mega Basket, including 5 three-pointers.
Key moments: Cibona were down by 4 points – 74:78, with less than minute-and-a-half remaining on the game clock, but Jose Vildoza and Amar Gegić managed to tie the score for the home team with two very important lay-ups – 78:78. Mega Basket had a chance to win the match in the regular time as they had the last ball-possession in the 4th quarter, however Dayshon Smith’s 3-point attempt at the buzzer was not good.
Cibona opened the overtime with Roko Prkačin’s three-pointer – 81:78, while then Nathan Reuvers stepped up for the Wolves as he scored 5 consecutive points to put his team on a safe distance – 86:81. In the remaining time, the home team stayed in front and they grabbed their 2nd win of the season.
Man of the match: Nathan Reuvers was just brilliant tonight! Cibona’s big man scored 24 points, had 13 rebounds, while his overall index rating was 36!
At this moment, Nathan Reuvers is the MVP of Round 2 as he spent less time on court than Krka’s point guard Rok Stipčević who also had an index rating of 36 in his match.
Can’t trick the stats: Cibona won the battle in paint. The Wolves had 46 rebounds in this match, while on the other side Mega Basket had 35.
