While Crvena zvezda mts and Igokea are in front of their new European games, one more AdmiralBet ABA League team is about to begin its 2021/22 European journey. Mornar-Barsko zlato will play their first game in the 2021/22 FIBA Europe Cup this week.

But, let’s start from the reigning AdmiralBet ABA League champions Crvena zvezda mts who are in front of their first double-action EuroLeague week in this season. The red-and-whites will firstly host Zalgiris Kaunas in Belgrade on Wednesday evening, while then they will face might CSKA Moscow on the road on Friday.

The Belgrade powerhouse suffered an unexpected defeat last weekend in the match against Igokea, so they will now try to bounce back by scoring at least one win in this tough Turkish Airlines EuroLeague week. And, it has to be mentioned that the Wednesday’s game against Zalgiris Kaunas will be the first home game for Zvezda in the 2021/22 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season, which means that they will most certainly have a huge support from the stands on Wednesday evening. And that is always a huge advantage for the red-and-whites.

Igokea will host Turkish giant Galatasaray Nef in the second round of the 2021/22 FIBA Champions League and the boys from Laktaši are approaching this game with great atmosphere inside the locker room as they scored two very important wins over the last week. They firstly defeated PAOK at the start of the 2021/22 FIBA Champions League season, while then they stunned Crvena zvezda mts in the previous round of the AdmiralBet ABA League. And now they want to extend that winning streak.

Mornar-Barsko zlato are about to start their FIBA Europe Cup journey and in their 1st game they will face Turkish team Bahcesehir College on the road. The Bar troops are having a nightmare start of the new season as they have lost all 3 games so far in the AdmiralBet ABA League season and they want to break that losing streak as soon as possible. Perhaps, they might do that this week in Turkey.
