EL: Zvezda suffer narrow defeat against CSKA Moscow

Despite making a really good performance against one of the strongest teams in Europe, Crvena zvezda mts have eventually suffered a narrow defeat in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague match against CSKA Moscow on the road.

Despite making a really good performance against one of the strongest teams in Europe, Crvena zvezda mts have eventually suffered a narrow defeat in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague match against CSKA Moscow on the road.

The red-and-whites have had the lead in most part of the match, while the last time they were in front happened on 4 minutes before the end when Nathan Wolters scored a 2-pointer to give a two-point lead to his team – 71:69. However, CSKA Moscow had a fierce response as after that Wolters’ two-pointer they made the crucial 9:0 to take over the lead and escape on a safe distance ahead of the final minute of the game – 78:71.

Nathan Wolters was the top scorer in Crvena zvezda mts team with 16 points, while Ognjen Kuzmić made 14.

Crvena zvezda mts now have the overall score of 2-2 in the 2021/22 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season.
