Story of the game: One week ago these two teams had the perfect score in the ongoing season, however last weekend both of them suffered unexpected defeats. Therefore, now both Crvena zvezda mts and Cedevita Olimpija will do everything they can to return on the winning path.
Crvena zvezda mts were defeated against Igokea last weekend, while after that they played two games in the TurkishAirlines EuroLeague and they left a really good impression in both of them. They firstly made a master-class defensive performance in the match against Zalgiris Kaunas and grabbed a really big win against the Lithuanian powerhouse, while after that they almost stunned one of the best European teams CSKA Moscow on the away court. Zvezda did not have much time to rest after that match in Russia, but the boys coached by Dejan Radonjić are slowely getting used to the tough schedule and have no doubt that they will play the upcoming match in full power.
On the other side, Cedevita Olimpija had a whole week to prepare themselves for the big game in Belgrade. The Dragons received a big blow last weekend when they suffered a home-court defeat against FMP in overtime, which was their very first loss in this season. The perfect way to bounce back from that defeat would be to beat the reigning champions on the away court, but it is also important to mention that Cedevita Olimpija haven’t yet scored a win in Belgrade against Crvena zvezda mts.
