Game recap: Krka kept the perfect score at home court in the 2021/22 as they defeated Zadar in Novo mesto in Round 4. The green-and-whites made an excellent display. They have been in front from the start until the finish and eventually they scored a pretty routine win.

Rok Stipčević was once again brilliant in Krka’s team as he finished the match with 19 points, while young 20-year-old Andrej Stavrov scored 20 points for the winning team, which was his AdmiralBet ABA League career-high. It is also worth mentioning the performance of Jurij Macura who made 17 points and 16 rebounds.

On the other side, Zadar failed to break their losing streak which now stretches to 4 games and they are still winless in the 2021/22 season.

Key moments: Krka made the key 7:0 run in the final minutes of the 3rd quarter that brought them a 14-point lead – 64:50. And the home side did not have any problems staying in front until the end.

Man of the match: Although Jurij Macura had the highest index rating in the winning side (24), we will say that today the MVP award belongs to young Andrej Stavrov. Stavrov was the top scorer of Krka. He made 20 points, including 4 three-pointers, which all came in very important moments for the green-and-whites.

Can’t trick the stats: Krka’s players absolutely dominated the paint in this match. Just take a look at this – Krka made 40 rebounds, while Zadar had only 18.
