EC: Cedevita Olimpija and Partizan NIS victorious

In the opening round of the EuroCup Regular Season, Partizan NIS have prevailed over Hamburg Towers on the road in Germany, while Cedevita Olimpija triumphed over Gran Canaria on the road in Spain.

In their opening game of the EuroCup season, Partizan NIS have ran over Hamburg Towers on the road in Germany in a clash, that was really a one-way traffic all along. After the black and white have won the first quarter by 4 points, their lead has furtherly increased in the second one, in which they have crossed the margin of 20 points in 18th minute, when they went up by 55:33. In the second half, they have calmly cruised to the final score of 106:97. For Partizan NIS Kevin Punter led the way in scoring with 26 points, while Dallas Moore added 17.

Cedevita Olimpija demonstrated a great performance against Gran Canaria on the road in Las Palmas in a game, that could have really gone either way, but in the final minutes of the clash, the Dragons were simply more focused than the hosts and have got away with a 79:77 win. For Cedevita Olimpija, Jacob Pullen shined with 27 points on his record, while Jaka Blažič had 18.

Budućnost VOLI will be facing ratiopharm Ulm on the road in Germany a day later.
