Story of the game: Cibona will host FMP Meridian in Round 9 of the 2021/22 AdmiralBet ABA League regular season.

These two teams are having a very good season so far. By scoring two consecutive wins in the past two weeks Cibona have improved their overall score to 5-3 and they are currently just outside the Playoffs zone. This is one of the best starts of the season for the Wolves in recent history and they do not want to stop now. This very young team led by head coach Vladimir Jovanović want to keep pushing forward and perhaps they might finally return to the AdmiralBet ABA League Playoffs after so many years.

On the other side, FMP Meridian scored a big win over SC Derby last weekend and they now have the overall score of 6-2. Only two teams have a better season score than FMP Maridian in the ongoing season and those are Partizan NIS and Crvena zvezda mts. As you can see, the Panthers are having a dream season so far, while they will travel to Zagreb even stronger than before as they signed former Partizan NIS player Aleksa Stepanović last week. FMP Meridian obviously have big ambitions for the rest of the 2021/22 AdmiralBet ABA League championship and that is why they are coming to Dražen Petrović Hall fired up to grab another win.

Match-up in focus: We have already said so much things about Cibona’s rising star Roko Prkačin since the start of the new season. He will turn 19 next week and he is already a true leader of this team. Now, Prkačin will have to face last-round MVP – FMP Meridian's power forward Danilo Tasić who is one of the players that really shined in this season. Tasić has scored 10+ points in every game he played in the 2021/22 campaign, while last week he had 25 points and 9 rebounds.
