NLB Wheel League: Parasport Slovenia hold the 1st place after the opening round of the new season
Parasport Slovenia have won both of their games at the 1st tournament of the 2021/22 NLB Wheel League regular season.

The 2021/22 NLB Wheel League season has officially started this weekend with the tournament in Belgrade.
A total number of 4 games were played in the opening round. In the first game, tournament hosts KKK Singidunum Crvena zvezda defeated KKOI Zadar by 66:47. After that, Parasport Slovenia and KK OSI Paramont faced each other in the 2nd game of the day and Parasport Slovenia seized a narrow win - 67:66.
In the 3rd game of the day, KKOI Zadar scored their first win of the season as they previlaed over KK OSI Paramont – 69:64. Finally, in the last game of the opening round, Parasport Slovenia outplayed KKK Singidunum Crvena zvezda by 68:47 and remained the only team with the perfect score.
KKI Zagreb skipped the opening round of the new season due to the odd number of teams.
Recall that the 2021/22 NLB Wheel season will consist of 5 tournaments. The Belgrade tournament has just finished, while the other 4 will be played in Zadar (December 19, 2021), Podgorica (March 5, 2022), Zagreb (April 10, 2022) and in Slovenia (May 14. 2022).
