In a local derby of two domestic rivals, Lovćen 1947 have rolled over Podgorica in Hills Arena, Sarajevo.
This is the third win of the season for Lovćen 1947, which are now placed in the upper half of the standings after 5 rounds, one win higher than their counterparts of Podgorica, which are now on a 2:3 record, just below the middle of the standings.
With 3 minutes remaining in the first quarter, the teams have still been close, as Lovćen 1947 led 13:10, but then Lovćen 1947 went on a 16:2 run, which put them ahead by 17 points (29:12). Lovćen 1947 hanged on to their lead until mid-fourth quarter, but then Podgorica came up with an amazing comeback late in the game and the teams entered the last minute with a one-point advantage by Lovćen 1947 (76:75).
