Mathias Lessort pens deal with Partizan NIS until the end of the season

Partizan NIS have just become significantly stronger down in the paint as they penned a deal with 26-year-old French international Mathias Lessort. The two sides have signed a contract until the end of the 2021/22 season.

Lessort spent the first part of the ongoing season in Maccabi Tel Aviv, while before that he played for AS Monaco, with whom he won the 2020/21 7Days EuroCup title, then for Unicaja Malaga, Bayern Munich, Crvena zvezda mts, Nanterre 92 and Elan Chalon.

Mathias Lessort was part of the French national team that won the bronze medal at the 2019 FIBA World Cup.

Matijas Lesor je novi košarkaš Partizana NIS! Dvadesetšestogodišnji reprezentativac Francuske i doskorašnji igrač Makabija iz Tel Aviva, potpisao je ugovor sa crno-belima do kraja sezone 2021/22.

Novi centar Partizana je visok 206 centimetara, a pre Makabija je igrao za Monako, Unikahu, Bajern, Crvenu zvezdu, Nanter i Šalon. Na NBA draftu 2017. godine, Lesor je izabran od strane Filadelfije kao 50. pik.

U sezoni za nama, Matijas Lesor je sa ekipom Monaka osvojio 7Days Evrokup. Na Svetskom prvenstu u Kini 2019. Matijas je sa reprezentacijom Francuske osvojio bronzanu medalju.
