Crvena zvezda mts suffered a major blow in the Top 8 race as they were defeated by Zenit St Petersburg in overtime at home in Belgrade.
The red-and-whites had a big chance to take the win late in the 4th quarter, however some of their best players from tonight’s game Nikola Kalinić and Nathan Wolters missed their 3-point shots in the final seconds and the game went into overtime.
In overtime, Crvena zvezda mts former player Jordan Loyd stepped up for Zenit St Petersburg as he scored 6 out of 11 points of his team to win the game for the Russian side.
