AdmiralBet ABA League Round 15, Wednesday, 5 January 2022:

PARTIZAN NIS - SPLIT

Where? Štark Arena, Belgrade

When? 18:45

Story of the game: Partizan NIS will be hosting Split at home in Štark Arena in Belgrade in the opening game of the AdmiralBet ABA League Round 15.
It’s a game of two squads with different ambitions ahead of them at the moment, but one goal in mind – win the game and improve your position in the standings.

While Partizan NIS are currently occupying the second place in the standings, it is clear that they are aiming for the first place and to do just that, they will need to keep up winning in order to keep the chance of getting in front of Crvena zvezda mts, that are currently alone at the very top.

On the other side, Split are currently occupying the last place in the standings alone, with a record of 2:12 and a winless streak of six games in a row. They need to win in order to improve their chances of escaping the bottom of the standings before the Regular Season ends.

Speaking of tradition, it is clearly one-sided. Partizan NIS have not only won in every single game against Split at home in the regional competition, but have also done that while playing on the road.

So, if Split win this one, they will also be writing history. Can they do it? Watch the game and find out!

Match-up in focus: This time we will be able to watch the sharp-shooting clash of Kevin Punter and Shannon Shorter. The latter has recently joined Split and in his second game already, shined against the reigning champions Crvena zvezda mts with 24 points on his record, while shooting 3-pointers 5/7. Punter is currently averaging 8 points per game. Who will outgun the other one this time?

Head to head in the regional league: In total 13:0; In Belgrade 6:0.
