Story of the game: Mega Mozzart will host Cibona this Sunday at 12:00 in Round 15 of the 2021/22 AdmiralBet ABA League regular season.
Mega Mozzart are about to return on court after missing the past two weeks of action due to Covid-19 outbreak that struck their team. The Pink troops haven't really had lot of trainings to prepare for this match, but there is no doubt that the boys coached by Vladimir Jovanović are eager to play their 1st game in the new year. Their only problem is that some players are still not fully fit to make a comeback, including their top prospect Nikola Jović who will most likely miss the upcoming match.
On the other side, Cibona will try to bounce back after facing a series of defeats that lowered them to the bottom part of the standings. The Wolves have lost the previous 6 games in the regular season and they desperately want to end that awful run. Especially, because they are now 3 wins behind the last team in the Playoffs zone.
Match-up in focus: Boriša Simanić, who has recently recovered from injury, is slowly getting back into his shape from the start of the season when he was by far the best player of Mega Mozzart. Simanić is still the top scorer of Mega Mozzart, while in the upcoming match he will try to outgun Cibona's top scorer from the 2021/22 season - Amar Gegić. In his last game in the regional league, Gegić had 15 points and 8 rebounds.
