EC: Victories for Budućnost VOLI and Partizan NIS

In the ninth round of the EuroCup Regular Season, both Budućnost VOLI and Partizan NIS have been victorious, as they have prevailed over Frutti Extra Bursaspor and Dolomiti Energia Trento, respectively.

Budućnost VOLI have came up with a major comeback to grab a win in the ninth round of the EuroCup Regular Season, as they have won their last quarter in the game against Frutti Extra Bursaspor with the score of 25:9 and got away with the win with the score of 83:82 against the Turkish side. D.J. Seeley was the hero of the blue and white squad, as he led them to the win with crucial three-point play just before the end of the playing time to seal the win for the squad, led by head coach Aleksandar Džikić from the bench. For the Podgorica side, Vladimir Micov led the way in scoring with 20 points, while Willie Reed had 18.

Partizan NIS have rolled over Dolomiti Energia Trento at home in Belgrade thanks to their flying start, as they have won the opening quarter by no less than 19 points already. The remainder of the clash seemed to be an easy one for the black and white, as they continued to cruise towards the win with the final score of 97:65. For the Belgrade squad, Yam Madar was atop of the list of scorers this time around, as he had 18 points, while Kevin Punter and Dallas Moore added 17 apiece

Cedevita Olimpija’s game in this round against Promitheas of Patras has been postponed due to Covid-19 outbreak in the Ljubljana team.
