Story of the game: Due to COVID-19 outbreaks, only one game will be played in AdmiralBet ABA League this weekend. SC Derby will host Partizan NIS on Saturday evening in Podgorica.

This will be very first game for SC Derby in 2022 and they will do their best to start the new year with a win, especially because they did not really end the previous one in such a good way as they lost the last two games in the regional league. SC Derby are drawing their confidence from the fact that they will be playing the upcoming game at home court as they have won 4 out of the 6 home-court games so far in the 2021/22 season.

On the other side, Partizan NIS want to extend their winning run and to stay in the race for the top spot on the standings. The black-and-whites have won the previous 3 games in the championship and in each of them they put on quite an impressive performance. In the 1^st part of the season, Partizan NIS scored quite a convincing win against SC Derby in Belgrade as they triumphed in that match by 79:57.

Match-up in focus: SC Derby big man Kenan Kamenjaš has already showed that he can play against the best centers in the league, despite the fact that this is only his 1st season in the top-tier of the regional basketball. Kamenjaš is currently the league’s top rebounder, while he is at the 4^th place in the race for the regular season MVP. Yet, he is now about to face a much experienced player who actually participated in the last-year EuroLeague Final Four – Partizan NIS big guy Zach LeDay. LeDay is the top scorer and the 2^nd best rebounder of Partizan NIS in the ongoing season and that makes his duel against Kenan Kamenjaš very special.
