Igokea m:tel were defeated by Filou Oostende on the road in Game 2 of the 2021/22 FIBA Basketball Champions League Play-In stage, which means that the score in this series is now tied at 1-1.

From the very beginning of the match it was quite obvious that Igokea m:tel troops are still not in their best shape. Recall that almost the entire team of the blue-and-whites were struck by COVID-19 virus and the boys from Laktaši haven’t really had a lot of trainings lately.

Igokea m:tel lost the opening quarter by 30:12, while they were training by 26 points by halftime – 50:24. At that point it was quite clear that the Admiralbet ABA League side won’t be able to clinch their Top 16 ticket this evening in Belgium.

However, Igokea m:tel will have another chance to do so, as Game 3 will decide which of these two teams will advance to the next stage. The good thing is that Game 3 (Thursday, January 20) will be played in Laktaši.
