Game recap: In the opening game of the Sunday’s AdmiralBet ABA League programme, Zadar have prevailed over FMP Meridian after a thrilling finish at home in Jazine Sports Hall in Zadar. This is an extremely important triumph for the Dalmatian side, that are now on a 6:11 record, on their way from the bottom of the standings towards the middle and are no longer placed in the danger zone. On the other side, FMP Meridian are still firmly in the Playoffs Zone, even though their record is now looking a bit poorer than before – 10:7, after 17 games played.

Key moments: Zadar have already been up by 9 points at halftime, but the visitors have fought back and made it anybody’s game. It have been the Dalmatians, that have entered the finish with a slight advantage, as they have been in front 77:74 with a minute and a half to go in the game. However, FMP made two three-pointers in the following minute, by Bryce Jones and Marko Radonjić, respectively, that put them ahead 79:80. The crucial moment came with 23 points on the game clock, when Dario Drežnjak put his team ahead by a point with a lay-up. As it turned out, FMP did not manage to score again until the end of the game, Martin Junaković confirmed the win with 2 free throws and Jazine celebrated!
