Story of the game: Budućnost VOLI will host Mega Mozzart this Sunday evening in Round 20 of the 2021/22 AdmiralBet ABA League.

Budućnost VOLI are the 2^nd best team in the league when it comes to the current form as they are on a 7-game winning streak. The Podgorica side suffered their last defeat in ine the ongoing season in November last year when they were defeated by Partizan NIS on the road.

On the other side, Mega Mozzart have suffered two defeats in a row as they lost the previous two games against SC Derby and Crvena zvezda mts. Also, it should be mentioned that Mega Mozzart haven’t triumphed in Podgorica in the last 6 years. Theeir one and only win away against Budućnost VOLI came in 2016 in that famous semi-final series when Mega Mozzart eliminated the Podgorica giant and advanced to the AdmiralBet ABA League Finals.

Still, in the first part of the season Mega Mozzart stunned Budućnost VOLI in Belgrade as the Pink troops won that game by 87:81.

Match-up in focus: Kendrick Perry has been quite good in his first two games for Budućnost VOLI, while this weekend he will face his former team Mega Mozzart for which he played in the 2019/20 season. This won’t be the first time for Perry to play against the Pink troops as in the 2020/21 season he faced Mega Mozzart twice as a player of Cedevita Olimpija and in both games he recorded double-digits in points. Mega Mozzart will try to respond with Dayshon Scoochie Smith who just loves playing big games. Just remember his game against Partizan NIS from couple of weeks ago when the American point guard scored the game-winning 3-pointer in the final seconds of the match.
