National Cups: Victories for Cibona, FMP Meridian and Partizan NIS

Three AdmiralBet ABA League teams scored wins in their national cups this Friday evening.
Cibona have qualified for the 2022 Croatian Krešimir Ćosić Cup Final as they prevailed over Zadar in the semi-finals. The Zagreb team have been controlling the game from the very start. They have gained a double-digit lead already by halftime and they have stayed in front all the way until the end.
Cibona will play against their city rivals Cedevita Junior in the final as the Orange troops stunned Split in the 2nd semi-final game. The key moment happened 30 seconds before the end when Cedevita Junior player Goran Filipović scored a 3-pointer to put his team in front by 5 – 82:77.
FMP Meridian and Partizan NIS will play in the semi-finals of the 2022 Serbian Radivoj Korać Cup as they scored convincing wins in their quarter-final games this Friday evening.
FMP Meridian defeated their AdmiralBet ABA League rivals Borac by 88:77. The Panthers gained a double-digit lead already in the 1st quarter and they did not have lot of troubles keeping that lead in the rest of the match.
Partizan NIS showed their full power to Borac Zemun as the black-and-whites triumphed by 101:48, with their latest signing Tristan Vukčević being the top scorer of the game with 16 points.
