EC: Cedevita Olimpija stronger than Promitheas

In the previously postponed game of the EuroCup Round 9, Cedevita Olimpija have prevailed over Promitheas of Patras at home in Stožice Arena in Ljubljana and grabbed their 7th win of the European season.

The green and orange have started the game all fired up and led by 12 points at the end of the opening quarter. By halftime, Promitheas managed to cut the gap to 10 points, but this did not stop the Dragons, as their lead crossed the 20-points milestone in the third quarter. In the remainder of the clash, the hosts kept cruising towards the win in the end with the final score of 98:84.

Jacob Pullen was on the top of the list of scorers for the squad, led from the bench by head coach Jurica Golemac, with 22 points scored, while Zach Auguste added 19 points to his record.

Earlier this week, Cedevita Olimpija have also prevailed over Budućnost VOLI, while Partizan NIS suffered road defeat by Lietkabelis.
