Dušan Beslać scores 2 free throws in the final second to win the game for Vojvodina

Vojvodina have prevailed over Borac Banja Luka in a thrilling ending thanks to Dušan Beslać who scored two game-winning free throws in the very last second of this exciting match.

At the score of 74:74, Vojvodina had the last ball-possession in this game and a chance to seize the win. Krsto Bjelica went for a lay-up, however his shot just bounced off the rim… But, luckily for Vojvodina, today’s game hero Beslać came out of nowere to pick up the offensive rebound. And, while catching the ball and immediatelly attempting to score the game-winning 2-pointer, Beslać was fouled by Borac Banja Luka player Stefan Kenić.

That gave Vojvodina two free throws in the very last second of the game and Dušan Beslać scored both of them to give the Novi Sad team a sweet win – 76:74.

Beslać was absolutely the main figure down on the court in today’s game as he scored 27 points, including those two game-winning free throws, while he also made 8 rebounds. His overall index rating was 37.

This game did not change any things when it comes to the final standings of the 2021/22 NLB ABA League 2 regular season. Vojvodina have finished the 2021/22 regular season just outside the Playoffs zone at the 9^th place, while Borac Banja Luka will enter the Playoffs from the 3^rd position.
