EL: Crvena zvezda mts suffer heavy defeat in Munich
Crvena zvezda mts were defeated against Bayern Munich in a direct battle for the 2021/22 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs. The Belgrade team have therefore lost all chances of reaching the Top 8 stage.

Crvena zvezda mts were defeated against Bayern Munich in a direct battle for the 2021/22 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs. The Belgrade team have therefore lost all chances of reaching the Top 8 stage.
Unfortunately, Crvena zvezda mts have played probably their worst game of the season in the most important moment. The red-and-whites were down by 9 at the halftime, while then there came the 3rd quarter in which Zvezda scored just 10 points and let Bayern Munich gain a big lead ahead of the final 10 minutes.
Crvena zvezda mts still have two games to play in the ongoing Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season. They will play against Zalgiris Kaunas already on Sunday evening, while in the last round the Belgrade side will host the reigning European champions Anadolu Efes.
