Story of the game: Zadar will host Mega Mozzart this Monday evening in Round 25 of the 2021/22 AdmiralBet ABA League regular season.
If you follow the regional championship, then you certainly remember the previous game between these two teams. Back in December last year, Zadar triumphed in Belgrade in one of the most thrilling game endings of the season in which Justin Carter hit the game-winning 2-pointer at the 4th quarter buzzer.
The two teams have a similar overall score ahead of this match. Zadar are at 7-15, while Mega Mozzart are at 8-15 and they are both positioned outside the relegation zone. However, as 13th placed Split have the overall score of 6-18, both Zadar and Mega Mozzart are aware that they are still not fully safe and that is why they will be fully motivated to win the upcoming match.
Match-up in focus: Zadar’s hero from the previous game against Mega Mozzart Justin Carter will once again lead the white-and-blue troops down on the court. Carter is playing simply brilliant in this season, while it is worth mentioning that he scored 10+ points in 19 out of 22 games in the 2021/22 AdmiralBet ABA League campaign. On the other side, Mega Mozzart top prospect Nikola Jović will try to continue with great performances as he scored 41 points combined in the previous two games of his team.
