EC: End of the European journey for Partizan NIS

In the Eightfinals of the 7DAYS EuroCup season, Partizan NIS suffered a home defeat by Frutti Extra Bursaspor and failed to qualify for the Quarterfinals of the European comepetition.

It has been a dramatic encounter, where Partizan NIS were close to grabbing a win in the regular time of the game, but Frutti Extra Bursaspor managed to force overtime by coming back from 5-point deficit in the final 10 seconds of the 40 minutes. In the extra time, the visitors got up quickly and sticked to their advantage until the end of the game, when they celebrated the 103:95 win. For the black and white, Aleksa Avramović led the way in scoring with 23 points, while Mathias Lessort added 20.

A day before, Cedevita Olimpija have qualified for the Quarterfinals, as they have prevailed over Turk Telekom of Ankara at home in Stožice, while Budućnost VOLI have ended their European journey with a defeat on the road in Andorra.
