The 2015 ABA League MVP, former Mega Mozzart player and current Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokić has been named the 2021/22 NBA Most Valuable Player!
Jokić has therefore become only the 13th player in NBA history to win back-to-back MVP awards.
Nikola Jokić averaged 27.1 points, 13.8 rebounds and 7.9 assists in 33.5 minutes per game in the 2021/22 season.
He also became the first player in NBA history to average 25+ points, 13+ rebounds and 6+ assists for an entire season, while on top of all that Jokić became the first player in NBA history to record at least 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 500 assists in a single season.
Recall that Nikola Jokić started his pro career in Mega Mozzart for whom he played from 2012 to 2015. In his last season before heading across the ocean, Jokić was named the 2014/15 ABA League MVP.
