Split star player Shannon Shorter received the award for the 2021/22 Top Scorer

Split star player Shannon Shorter received the award for the 2021/22 Top Scorer from AdmiralBet ABA League Director Dubravko Kmetović.

Shorter averaged 17 points per game in the 2021/22 AdmiralBet ABA League season and he's been one of the best players of the yellow-and-blacks since joining the team last winter.

“In the name of AdmiralBet ABA League, I am proud to hand over the award for the season Top Scorer to Mr. Shorter. The AdmirlaBet ABA League is the strongest regional basketball competition and therefore every trophy that is won here has a special meaning. I want to congratulate Split on great work over the past year and on their participation in AdmiralBet ABA League in the next season. It is always a special pleasure for me to be here in this special place for basketball, said Kmetović.

“First of all, I want to thank the club, the coach, my teammates, the fans… They brought me in the middle of the season and my goal from the start was to help the team. And the team gave me a chance. Thanks to Rok, Toni, Shawn, Tonko, Karlo and to everyone who welcomed me with open arms. They helped me win this award,” said Shorter.
