National Leagues: Cedevita Olimpija win the triple crown
Cedevita Olimpija have swept the Final series of the Slovenian National Championship against Helios Suns 3:0 and claimed their 19th domestic championship trophy. This way they have become back to back Slovenian National Champions and at the same time won the triple crown this season.

In the third game of the Nova KBM League Finals, Cedevita Olimpija have prevailed over Helios Suns and swept the Final series. This way the Dragons have claimed their 19th Slovenian national championship glory in club’s history.
The Dragons have determinedly begun the what turned out to be the decisive third game of the Final series of the Nova KBM League and opened it with a 10:0 run. They did not slow down in the remainder of the clash, as the squad, led from the bench by head coach Jurica Golemac was up by 14 points at the end of the first quarter (13:27) and extended its advantage to 20 points by halftime (36:56). In the second half, the back to back champions calmly cruised to the final win with the score of 81:191
This way, the Dragons have become back to back Slovenian National Champions. Cedevita Olimpija have also completed the triple crown this season, having previously won the Slovenian Super Cup and Slovenian National Cup trophies for the 2021/22 season.
On the way to the finals, the Ljubljana squad have also previously swept the quarterfinal series against Krka (2:0) and the semifinal series against Rogaška (2:0).
