Dominik Mavra signs with Split

Dominik Mavra will play the next season in Split!

This 28-year-old point guard has officially joined the famous Yellow crew for the 2022/23 campaign, while this will be his 2^nd stint with Split as he already played for this club back in the 2012/13 season.

Mavra spent the last 3 years in his hometown team Zadar, while before that he played for several other regional teams including Krka, MZT Skopje Aerodrom, Karpoš Sokoli, Cibona and Zagreb.

In the previous season, he averaged 8.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game in AdmiralBet ABA League.

“I am glad that I returned to Split. The club showed a great desire to have me in its roster for the following season. I liked their project and that was the key factor for me to accept the offer. I hope that we will have a good season and that we will fulfill all the goals that are in front of us,” said Mavra.

Mavra potpisao za Split

Dominik Mavra, 28-godišnji razigravač, reprezentativac Hrvatske i dugogodišnji kapetan Zadra, novi je igrač Splita. Seniorsku karijeru započeo je u Zagrebu, a nosio je dres tri najveća hrvatska kluba - Splita, Zadra i Cibone. Lider na terenu, ima iskustvo igranja u inozemstvu i najjačim europskim ligama, pa je tako branio boje litavskog Lietkabelisa, te španjolskog Joventuta. Nastupao je također u dresu makedonskih MZT-a i Karpoš Sokola, slovenske Krke i poljske Dabrowe. Žuti dres je već nosio u sezoni 2012/2013, a u srpnju je postao i splitski zet. Dominik, dobrodošao natrag.

- Drago mi je što sam tu. Suba i Teo su pokazali veliku želju da dođem, svidjelo mi se što žele u ovoj sezoni i to je presudilo na kraju. Nadam se da ćemo imati kvalitetnu sezonu i ostvariti sve ciljeve koji su pred nama - rekao je Mavra.
