FIBA WC Qualifiers: BiH victorious against France

On Saturday night, Bosnia and Herzegovina have beaten France at home in Sarajevo in double-overtime, while on the other side, Montenegro have been defeated by Lithuania on the road in Kaunas.

On the road in Žalgirio Arena in Kaunas, Montenegro have suffered a defeat by Lithuania after a fantastic second half performance by the hosts, following the 3-point deficit by the Montenegrins at halftime. In the end, the score has been 90:73 in favour of Lithuania. For Montenegro, Kendrick Perry and Nemanja Radović led the way in scoring with 21 and 14 points scored, respectively.

At home in the Mirza Delibašić Arena in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina have stunned France thanks to a second-half comeback. The hosts were up by 14 points after the opening quarter, but France fought back in the second, turning the game completely upside-down and taking an 8-point advantage at the big break. However, BiH fought back again in the third quarter, have won it by 16 points alone and entered the final period with an 8-point advantage. France attempted another comeback late in the game and managed to take it into double-overtime, when eventually, BiH prevailed 96:90. For the winning side, Jusuf Nurkić had 18 points, while he has been followed by John Roberson who added 18
