EuroBasket 2022: Wins for BiH and Montenegro

In Tbilisi, Montenegro has faced Bulgaria and scored their second EuroBasket 2022 win in a row in their Group A. The Montenegrin side has been down by a point at halftime (46:45), but it was the third quarter that turned out to be decisive in the end. Montenegro won the third period alone by 10 points (12:22) and afterwards cruised to the win with the final score of 91:81. Mornar-Barsko zlato player Vladimir Mihailović was the best scorer of the winning side this time, as he scored 23 points. Igor Drobnjak and Bojan Dubljević added 17 apiece.

In Cologne, two national teams of the AdmiralBet ABA League countries have battled head to head and after a dramatic clash, Bosnia and Herzegovina have prevailed over Slovenia, achieving their second win and handing the reigning champions first defeat of the tournament. After a dramatic ending, BiH have prevailed 97:93. For BiH John Roberson was atop of the list of scorers with 23 points, while Džanan Musa followed with 22. For Slovenia, Vlatko Čančar was the most efficient with 22 points and Goran Dragić had 20.
