EuroBasket 2022: Croatia and Serbia victorious

In their Thursday’s EuroBasket 2022 games, both Croatia and Serbia have grabbed new triumphs, against Ukraine and Poland, respectively.

Croatia have prevailed over Ukraine in Group C, in order to achieve their third win of the EuroBasket 2022 tournament. It has been a game, that could have gone either way and the two squads have been tied heading into the final quarter, but that’s when Croatia pumped up the tempo and eventually won with the final score of 90:85. For Croatia, Bojan Bogdanović scored 27 points, while Dominik Mavra added 13.

In Group D, Serbia have defeated Poland and kept their undefeated record at the EuroBasket 2022 after five games played. They have secured themselves a win already in the opening half, when they have created themselves a 19-point lead (52:33). In the second half, they have merely cruised towards the win with the final score of 96:69. Nikola Jokić was the top scorer for Serbia with 19 points and Nikola Milutinov came second with 16 points.
