EuroBasket 2022: Slovenia advance to the quarter-finals
Luka Dončić put up another sensational performance to lead Slovenia to the next round.

Slovenia have qualified for the quarter-finals of FIBA EuroBasket 2022 as they defeated Belgium by 88:72. Slovenian team have been in front throughout the whole match, while they definitely sealed their win in the 4th quarter which they won by 25:12.
Luka Dončić was once again the man of the match for Slovenia as he scored 35 points to help his team reach the next stage.
On the other side, Montenegro failed to reach the quarter-finals as they lost the match against tournament hosts Germany – 85:79. Montenegro were down by 24 points at halftime, but they managed to bounce back on their feet in the 2nd half and to reduce the margin to just 3 points in the final minute – 80:77. However, then Kendrick Perry made an unsportsmanlike foul and let Germany once again escape on a safe distance.
