PRESEASON: Crvena zvezda mts, Mornar-Barsko zlato and MZT Skopje Aerodrom score wins

Three AdmiralBet ABA League teams were victorious this Friday evening in their preseason games.

Crvena zvezda mts triumphed against Russian side Enisey – 72:71 – after a dramatic finish in which Luka Mitrović scored the game-winning 2-pointer for the red-and-whites just 1 second before the end. Mitrović was also the top scorer of the match with 24 points.

Mornar-Barsko zlato prevailed over Sutjeska by 74:62, mostly thanks to their outstanding offensive performance in the 4^th quarter in which they scored 27 points. Mornar-Barsko zlato’s summer signing Daron Russell shined again in the preseason as he made 21 points for his team tonight.

MZT Skopje Aerodrom have made it to the Final of the 2022 Zemun Cup as they defeated Borac Banja Luka in the semis – 85:66. Young center Samet Yigitoglu was brilliant in this match as he made 17 points for the winning team. MZT Skopje Aerodrom will play for the trophy against the tournament hosts Mladost MaxBet.

The friendly match between Borac and Romanian side Oradea ended up in a draw as the final score of the game was 76:76. Borac summer signing Marko Radonjić scored a 3-pointer in the final moments of the match to tie the score. Aleksa Novaković was the top scorer of the Čačak crew tonight with 21 points.

Igokea m:tel was the only Admiral ABA League team to lose their prep game this evening as they were defeated by Hungarian side Szolnoki Olaj by 94:80. Deshawn Stephens made 17 points for the Laktaši troops.
