PRESEASON: Victories for MZT Skopje Aerodrom and Split

In their Saturday’s preseason games, MZT Skopje Aerodrom and Split celebrated new victories, by beating Mladost MaxBet and Alkar, respectively, while Zadar suffered a defeat in France by Le Mans.

MZT Skopje Aerodrom have faced Mladost MaxBet in the Zemun Cup Final and emerged victorious. The AdmiralBet ABA League newcomers went off to a slow start and were behind by 7 points after the opening quarter. Hey have, however, tied the game by halftime at the score of 46:46. In the second half, MZT Skopje Aerodrom prevailed and celebrated the win with the final score of 86:80. For MZT Skopje Aerodrom, Mike Caffey led the way in scoring with 19 points and Strahinja Mićović had 12.

At home in Split Sports Hall, Split have faced Alkar and prevailed in a game, that went their way straight from the beginning. They were up by 15 points after the first quarter and then continued to cruise towards the win in the end with the final score of 84:75. Shannon Shorter was the most efficient for Split with 23 points, while Nikola Đogo put in 19.

In France, Zadar faced Le Mans and suffered first defeat of the French tour of the past days. This time, it have been Le Mans, that have been a better of the two opponents for the majority of the game. They were up by 2 points at halftime and in the end prevailed 100:86. For Zadar, Luka Božić was atop of the list of scorers with 29 points on his record, while Dario Drežnjak had 23 points.
