The Laktaši troops are aiming for their 3rd consecutive Playoffs appearance.

Everyone remembers that historic 2012/13 campaign of Igokea m:tel when this club claimed the 1st place in the ABA League regular season and made their 1st ever Playoffs/Final Tournaments appearance.

After that historic season, the club had some ups and downs in the following years, but no matter how much they tried, they simply could not repeat that big success of reaching the Playoffs. At least not until the 2020/2021 season…

That season Igokea m:tel made it to the regional league Playoffs for the 2nd time in club’s history and they even managed to write down their first ever win in the Playoffs. The club showed huge improvement in every aspect that year, while in the following season they continued building on their project.

In the 2021/22 campaign, Igokea m:tel once again reached the Playoffs. For the first time in club’s history they made back-to-back Playoffs appearances which proved that the club is growing rapidly and that it has intention to stop.

And now, Igokea m:tel are aiming for their 3rd consecutive Playoffs appearance.

Club legend Dragan Bajić has remained first team head coach which is a huge thing for the club as Bajić was the first team head coach in each season the Laktaši troops reached the Playoffs.

On top of that, some of the important first team players from the previous season also stayed in the club, including Marko Jošilo, Antabia Waller, DeShawn Stephens, Nikola Tanasković, Darko Talić and Stefan Đorđević.

The club management made sure to fill the rest of the roster with some new top-quality players, so Igokea m:tel penned deals with 6 newcomers last summer, including - Dušan Tanasković (OKK Dunav), Kendrick Ray (Promotheas Patras), Haris Delalić (Sloboda Tuzla), Bryant Crawford (Reggio Emilia), Mario Nakić (MoraBanc Andorra) and Nikola Marić (Little Rock Trojans).

This team has already showed big potential during the preseason and it will be definitely exciting to watch them when the 2022/23 season begins.
