Presenting the 2022/23 AdmiralBet ABA League teams – Mega MIS

The Pink troops are once again packed with hot prospects and in the following season they will try to repeat the success from the 2015/16 season when this team reached the ABA League Playoffs.

The increase of number the teams that will reach the Playoffs in the following season has given hope to all the underdogs that they might find a place among the top 8 teams on the standings and therefore pursue their dream of winning the title.

Mega MIS, being the youngest team in the league, is certainly one of those teams that hopes that this new system format will help them reach the final stage of the season. Recall that Mega MIS have reached the regional league Playoffs just once in the club’s history. That occurred in the 2015/16 season when this team played in the big Finals.

The current roster of Mega MIS is not that different from the one from the 2015/16 season in terms that the Pink troops once again have lots of super talented players that are eager to prove their quality at the big stage.

Yes, Mega MIS did lose some important players from the last season like Nikola Jović, Karlo Matković and Boriša Simanić, but some brand new top prospects filled their places. The club promoted three of their young stars - Andrija Grbović, Petar Kovačević and Oleksandr Kobzystyi to the first team, while one of the teams' biggest prospects Nikola Đurišić should also get much more minutes than in the previous season.

Mega MIS signed only three new players this summer, including Ahmaad Rorie (Balkan Botevgrad), Jovan Šljivančanin (Carroll College) and Danko Branković (Bayern Munich).

When we add some of the important first team players that remained in the team from the past season like Aleksa Uskoković, Matej Rudan, Luka Cerovina and Malcolm Cazalon, this brand new Pink squad looks quite interesting. And be quite sure that they will score some big wins in the following season, like they do every year.

It is also very important to mention that Mega MIS will have a new head coach in the following season as previous head coach Vladimir Jovanović left the team last summer. The new name to lead this young team is Marko Barać, former assistant in Igokea m:tell coaching staff, who also spent some time acting as the head coach of the Laktaši troops.

Barać will certainly add something new to this team and we can hardly wait to see what can Mega MIS present us in the 2022/23 campaign.
