Game recap: In the opening game of the AdmiralBet ABA League Round 2, Cedevita Olimpija have prevailed over Split on the road in Gripe with a convincing performance. It has really been a game, in which the Dragons of Ljubljana have been in front for the majority of the playing time, led almost throughout the game and deservedly got away with the second win in two games. On the other side, Split suffered their second defeat in two games and will find themselves in the bottom half of the AdmiralBet ABA League standings.

Key moments: Cedevita Olimpija have been a dominant force during this game and since the very starting tip-off, they have been gradually improving their position. They led by 4 points after the opening quarter and slowly, but surely, managed to pull away from the hosts in the second period. By the 19th minute, their lead was 14 points (35:49) and at this point, it became clear that a comeback by the home side would be very difficult to achieve.

Man of the match: Yogi Ferrell has once again shined for the Dragons, as he has been the top scorer of the visiting side on their way to the win with 21 points, while adding 4 rebounds, just as many assists and a valuation of 20 to his stats. He is our man of the match!

Can’t trick the stats: Cedevita Olimpija have simply dominated the paint this time. They had 36 rebounds and Split had 23. That’s what turned the tide of the game their  way.
