Vrijednosnice Osijek prevailed over Gorica in a thrilling clash of two old rivals at the start of the new season.
The heroes of the winning side were Tihomir Vranješ and Christian Bradford who scored 55 out of 77 points of their team. On top of that, they made the key buckets for Vrijednosnice Osijek in the final minute of the game.
At the score of 73:73, Christian Bradford made the clutch 2-pointer to put his team in front – 75:73. And, after Gorica squad made a turnover on the other side of the court, Tihomir Vranješ got fouled and he made both free throws to seal the win for Vrijednosnice Osijek – 77:73.
Vranješ finished the match with 29 points, while Bradford made 26 points.
