Speaking to us he revealed what helped him to fit into the team so well: “What helped me a lot was the chance to talk to the head coach before I got in Belgrade. He gave me the necessary confidence and let me know that the team wants me. When I arrived, the whole team supported me to show on the court what I am capable of. Also, the whole club helped me feel at home and to integrate into the environment in the best way possible.”

The fans have definitely been satisfied with the way he has started his journey with Crvena zvezda mts. But what can they expect from him in the long term? “I cannot promise to keep playing the way I did over the previous few games throughout the season, but what I can promise is to fight in the every single game. I will keep pushing forward and try to do everything I can to help my team win,” Vildoza told.

In his opinion the AdmiralBet ABA League is a strong competition and there are no easy games to be played here: “Even though I have only played two games in the regional competition so far, my impression is that the league is really, really tough, especially when playing on the road.”

And the goals for the season? Of course, as every season over the past several years, the ambitions of Crvena zvezda mts are to find themselves on the top at the end of the season. That’s exactly how Luca sees it: “We have a team, that will definitely be fighting for the top. After all, we are still undefeated this season. If we continue working the way we have been doing lately, we can be a really tough team. We can do some good things together and can fight for to win the championship once again.”
