Budućnost VOLI have continued with excellent results in the 2022/23 7Days EuroCup regular season as this week they defeated London Lions on the road for their 3rd consecutive win.
The game itself was quite similar to the one from the previous week when Budućnost VOLI gained a huge lead in the 1st half of the match against Promitheas Patras, but then almost spilled everything in the rest of the game in which they had lot of troubles staying in front.
This time, Budućnost VOLI gained a 14-point lead already in the first 10 minutes of the game against London Lions, still the English side almost made a miraculous comeback in the 4th quarter. The home team managed to reduce the gap to just 6 points – 82:76 and they had several opportunities to come even closer to Budućnost VOLI. Luckily for the Podgorica side, London Lions missed two free throws and then two 3-point shots that would have brought this game into a dramatic ending.
Finally, Phill Booth scored a 3-pointer for Budućnost VOLI with less than a minute left on the game clock to seal the win for his team – 85:76.
Budućnost VOLI have the overall score of 3-1 after the opening 4 rounds of the new season and they are sharing the top spot in Group A.
