Overtime win for Borac WWIN over Spars Ilidža

In the last game on schedule on Thursday night in the NLB ABA League 2, Borac WWIN celebrated an overtime win over the hosts of the tournament Spars Ilidža. This is the fourth win of the season for the Banja Luka side, which remain undefeated at the top of the standings after 4 rounds played. On the other side, Spars Ilidža are now on a 1:3 record and will be positioned in the bottom half of the standings after 4 rounds.

It has really been a game, that could have gone either way and there have been many ups and downs along the way. While Borac led by 4 after the first quarter, Spars led by a point at halftime. And while Spars increased their advantage to 6 points after 30 minutes, Borac took the game to overtime and was even close to winning it in the regular part of the game.

In the overtime, though, the story was different. Borac WWIN got slightly in front in the game’s finish and Spars Ilidža had the final ball possession. However, all of their attempts to shoot the ball towards the rim were rejected and Borac squad celebrated the win in the end.
