EL: Partizan Mozzart Bet suffer defeat against Valencia Basket in overtime

Partizan Mozzart Bet were defeated by Valencia Basket in Round 11 of the 2022/23 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season after a thrilling clash in Belgrade.

The black-and-whites have had the lead for more than 3 quarters, however Valencia Basket were patiently waiting for their chance which they eventually got in the 4^th quarter. The Spanish side took over the lead in the 4^th period and they were on the verge of winning the game, but Kevin Punter managed to save Partizan Mozzart Bet in those moments as he scored 10 points in a row for his team to tie the score at 84:84.

Valencia Basket had the last ball-possession in the 4^th quarter, but Chris Jones missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer and the match went into overtime.

Yet, it was obvious that Valencia Basket had a momentum and they quickly gained a 5-point lead in overtime. The visitors have stayed in front until the end, but we should mention that Partizan Mozzart Bet had one last chance to win the game. At the score of 98:96, with less than 10 seconds remaining on the game clock, Valencia Basket made a turnover and Partizan Mozzart Bet took the ball… However, the black-and-whites lost it immediately as Xabi Lopez-Arostegui stole the ball from James Nunnally.

After that, Jared Harper made two free throws to seal the win for Valencia Basket.
