EC: Overtime defeat for Budućnost VOLI

In the eighth round of the 7DAYS EuroCup season, Budućnost VOLI have suffered an overtime defeat on the road by Gran Canaria. The blue and white played bravely and led by 3 points as the third quarter ended. However, the hosts fought back and made it a tie, as the buzzer for the end of regular playing time in the arena went off. In the overtime, however, the home side demonstrated better energy and in the end prevailed with the final score of 79:71. For Budućnost VOLI, Alpha Kaba led the way in scoring with 14 points, while Trae Bell-Haynes had 13.

A day later, Cedevita Olimpija will face Germani Brescia at home in Stožice in pursuit of their second EuroCup win of the season.
