Cedevita Olimpija dropped a 7-point lead in the final 3-and-a-half minutes and let Germani Brescia take a huge road win in Ljubljana in Round 8 of the 2022/23 7Days EuroCup regular season.
The Dragons had a win in their pockets tonight. They were up by 79:72 and it looked like they would extend their winning streak. However, then everything fell apart for the Ljubljana side.
Germani Brescia made the key 11:1 run in the last 3-and-a-half minutes of the game to stun the hosts and win this thrilling game – 83:80.
Cedevita Olimpija missed some very important shots in the final minute, including the 3-pointer that Edo Murić attempted in the final second of the 4th quarter that would have taken this game into overtime. However, his shot only hit the rim.
