It is official! Borac Mozzart announced that they have signed a contract with 32-year-old center Đorđe Gagić until the end of the 2022/23 season.

This is most certainly a big signing for the Čačak troops as Đorđe Gagić is someone who left a big mark in the regiogan league. He started his pro career in Mornar back in 2009, while in 2011 he joined Hemofarm where he stayed for one season.

After that, Gagić went to Partizan for which he played from 2012 to 2015 and with whom he won the 2013 ABA League Championship. He then went abroad to play for Gaziantep, Brindisi, Iberostar Tenerife, Tsmoki-Minsk, İstanbul BB and Yeşilgiresun Belediye before returning to Partizan for the 2018/19 season.

Gagić then had a short episode in Aris Thessaloniki, but he quickly returned to our region once again as he joined Igokea for the 2019/20 season.

In the summer of 2020, Gagić joined Lietkabelis where he stayed for the following two years. This year, he moved to French side ADA Blois where he spent the first half of the 2022/23 season.

Đorđe Gagić also used to play for the Serbian national team as he was among the 12 players that represented Serbia at the 2013 FIBA EuroBasket.
