Uljarević and Batur lead Gorica toward their first win of the season

There are no more winless teams in the 2022/23 NLB ABA League 2 campaign as Gorica defeated Sloga to grab their first victory in the ongoing season.

Gorica had two players that made the difference today and their names are Karlo Uljarević and Ivan Batur.

Uljarević scored 36 points and therefore tied the 3rd best single-game scoring record in NLB ABA League 2 history. On top of that, he also had 7 rebounds and 7 assists, while his overall index rating was 44. And that is not all as Karlo Uljarević scored 8 points in the final minute-and-a-half of the 4^th quarter to keep Gorica in front in a thrilling ending.

Uljarević had a great help from his teammate Ivan Batur during the entire game as Batur scored 28 points, while his overall index rating was 29.

On the other side, Sloga was very close to pull off a miraculous comeback as they managed to return from an 18-point deficit and to reduce the gap to just a single-point in the 4^th quarter. However, that’s when Gorica's heroes Uljarević and Batur stepped up and scored some key buckets to guide their team toward the win.

Gorica now have the overall score of 1-8, while Sloga are at 5-4.
